Only now you <strong>don&#8217;t feel you&#8217;re outside<\/strong> the world watching it&#8230; you feel you&#8217;re<strong> IN IT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Enter VR Platforms<\/h2>\n<p>Until recently, the <strong>only way to move forward<\/strong> in that virtual world was to either use a<strong> small joystick<\/strong> that came along with the headset or to use the <strong>menu that appeared in the virtual world<\/strong> (the menu would have selectable commands for moving in a chosen direction).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But now, there are &#8216;<strong>VR motion platforms<\/strong>&#8216;, <strong>similar to treadmills<\/strong>, so that you can walk<strong><em> <span style=\"font-style: null;\">in any direction&nbsp;<\/span><\/em><\/strong>on the motion platform and <strong>correspondingly walk in the virtual world<\/strong>, which makes for a VR experience that is dramatically more realistic.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/themagnumgroup.net\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/VR-platform.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" title=\"VR-platform\" data-id=\"5077\" src=\"https:\/\/themagnumgroup.net\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/VR-platform.jpg\" style=\"\" scale=\"0\" width=\"423\" height=\"599\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>The Software Problem and the Solution<\/h2>\n<p>Until recently, there was <strong>no publicly-available software<\/strong> to make a virtual world accessible to <strong>a headset-platform combo system<\/strong>.
