Many of these roof types, particularly the single ply membranes, are now available in more light <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phpsd.com\/blog\/six-advantages-of-roof-coatings\">reflective colors<\/a> or laminates. Ask your supplier what your options are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Metal roofs should be expected to last around 40 to 50 years<\/li>\n<li>Spray foam roofs (<strong>SPF<\/strong>) can last 50 years or more<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.phpsd.com\/blog\/why-we-love-green-roofs-and-why-you-should-too\">Green roofs<\/a> can last anywhere from 30 to 50 years<\/li>\n<li>Blue roofs are expected to last 35 years<\/li>\n<li>Concrete tile roofs can last 50 years or more<\/li>\n<li>Ethylene propylene diene monomer single ply membrane (<strong>EPDM<\/strong>), rubber roof used in low slope applications, can last 10 to 40 years<\/li>\n<li>Poly vinyl chloride single ply membrane (<strong>PVC<\/strong>), most popular of the flat roof materials, can last 10 to 50 years<\/li>\n<li>Thermoplastic polyolefin single ply membrane (<strong>TPO<\/strong>) can last 15 to 30 years or more<\/li>\n<li>Modified bitumen (<strong>MOD BIT<\/strong>) roofs are expected to last 10 to 25 years<\/li>\n<li>A 5-ply built up roof (<strong>BUR<\/strong>) should last 25 years, depending on the number of plys<\/li>\n<li>Lightweight insulating concrete (or cellular) roof decks typically last 30 years or more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you\u2019re in the roofing industry and need roof drawings generated (either from sketches or from Google Earth\u2019s satellite view), we have the skill and the track record.
