The TMG Website is Going Responsive
We adapt quickly to the latest trends in website design.
Yes, we are converting our website into a responsive website and almost 90% of the conversion is over.
The blog which you are reading is in the remaining 10% and will be made responsive soon.
So, what is responsive web design? – It is a design which adapts to any screen size and displays pages neatly without the need to zoom or pan to read content.
Don’t believe what I say, check it yourself:
If you are reading this post on a desktop PC just go to our main page and change the size of your browser window. You will see how the site fits nicely according to the size of the browser window. Or just visit our main page from your smartphone and see how the website nicely fits your mobile screen without the need to zoom and pan to read contents. That’s the power of responsive web design!
What are the advantages of responsive web design? – The major advantage of responsive design is that there is no need to design websites separately for smaller screens and therefore no need to maintain two websites. Just one responsive website is enough to fit all screens – Cool isn’t it?
Are there tools available to convert a normal website to a responsive website? –
Actually there are a few tools available but they are not smart enough to arrange the contents of pages and give the feel you wanted. After all it’s only a program and therefore cannot understand your design intentions.
So what’s the way to make the website responsive? – There are websites that offer responsive design templates/boilerplates. What you have to do is to choose the right template and fit the contents from your existing website into the template. But, you need to have some knowledge of web design to make this work.
OK, where do we get those templates/boilerplates? – There are a number of sites that offer boilerplates but we would like to name two of the most reputed websites that offer free templates: Foundation by Zurb (This is what we are using for our website to make it responsive) and the other one is Bootstrap by Twitter – yes, the same Twitter you are addicted to!
It would be helpful if someone could take this hassle and create a responsive website, wouldn’t it? – Of course it would, and we can convert your website to responsive for very low rates.
Just drop us a line using the message form found at the bottom of our main page and provide your existing website link.
We will get back to you with a quote to convert your site to be responsive one after studying your existing website.
Thanks for reading this — we look forward to hearing from you!
