2-D CAD Drafting Service from The Magnum Group

We provide our 2-D drafting service to several engineering and architectural clients.

Some of our architectural clients ask us to design house plans. We create “permit sets”, which is a set of 12 drawings: first floor plans, second floor plans, four external elevations, two sections, foundation plan, general notes, details and cover sheet. Typically the architect sends us sketches to start with and we program them in AutoCAD. Please see our “House Plans” page for samples.

Because of changes in client preferences, the architect asks us to revise the AutoCAD drawings several times before they are submitted to the planning authorities.

We also create 2-D drawings for interior designers. The drawing development process is the same as for architects including the multiple revisions. The only difference is that in this case we are drafting floor plans with furniture in them as well as an elevation for each interior wall (see our “Blockout Elevations” page ).
