Why We Are Making This Unusual Offer

There was very little engineering input required for the above drawings. We want to move into work that involves structural engineering services.

We have formulated this objective because there is significant demand for CAD drafting involving structural engineering services and we have the resources to fulfill  it. Pursuing the objective will result in better revenues and strong growth for us.
 

What Resources Do We Have For Drafting Structural Drawings?

Firstly, one of our Directors, Lucky Balaraman, is an engineer with an MS from the University of Michigan.

In addition we have a working arrangement with a structural engineering consultant who has more than twenty years of experience including expertise in STAAD.PRO.

Our Project Manager, two engineers, in-house architect and two drafting supervisors have time budgeted for supervising the six of our 24 draftsmen who have been reserved for our charter structural customers. (Our total staff strength is currently 42 people.)

Our existing 24-node LAN with fast (2.6 GHz, some 3 GHz) processors running AutoCAD and Microstation will be the vehicle on which we will create the structural drawings our charter customers need.

We are open to acquiring additional programs if required.
 

How You Will Benefit From The Offer

By outsourcing your drafting work per se, you will have more time more time for important activities such as system design and personal interaction with clients. You will also pay for drafting labor on a per-use basis, which means you do not spend on salaries when there is no drafting work to perform.

By outsourcing to The Magnum Group, you will experience up to 50% savings in labor costs in the long run, even though you will have to spend a little extra on managing your outsourcing project.

For charter customers, after the 200 free hours, we will bill at only $8.25 per hour for a whole year (our current standard rate of $11 less 25%). CAD service providers in the Western hemisphere can charge up to $35 per hour for drafting that includes engineering services.
 

The Steps In Outsourcing To Us

► You send us sample input files, sample output files, referenced standards and instructions on how you want us to proceed (we might have to use special formulas, tables, templates, plug-ins or fonts, for instance). We clarify any doubts we may have by phoning or emailing you

► You sequentially give us two or three training exercises taking up to 150 hours  (which will not be counted in the 200 free hours)

► You start giving us actual assignments; we complete and deliver the output to you. We do not charge for the first 100 hours, which are worth $2,200. You can decide how many hours each assignment should have taken, and we will use this figure for hour-counting purposes even if we take longer

► After 200 hours of output are delivered, work we do for you is billable at the 25% discounted rate of $8.25 per hour for a whole year

► You are free to withdraw from this offer at any time without notice, and it won't cost you a thing, except for payments you might have already made to us for completed work.

We Can Afford Only Three Charter Customers

Giving away 100 free hours of engineering drafting represents a very large expenditure on our part,  and our budget does not allow us to offer more than three charter customerships. We would offer more charter customerships if we could.
 

How Will We Choose The Charter Customers?

We will be looking for customers with

• more than 20 employees (necessary for supporting a complex outsourcing exercise),

• a website with Google index listing

• a paid email address

• at least five years in active business and

• awareness that building a good outsourcing relationship takes time, good faith and diligence.

That said, we will wait until five customers have expressed interest, then choose from amongst them those with whom our chances for developing a long-term relationship are greatest.
